Company Registration

PT PMA · PT PMDN · Representative office

Registration of every type of Indonesian entity — PT PMA foreign-investment companies, PT PMDN local companies and representative offices — as a one-stop setup service.

Setting up a company in Indonesia involves choosing KBLI business classifications, meeting capital requirements, notarising the deed of establishment (Akta), obtaining Ministry of Law approval (SK Kemenkumham), securing the business identification number (NIB) through OSS, and registering for a tax number (NPWP). Our Jakarta team handles the whole process while a Chinese- or English-speaking advisor works with you one-to-one, so you choose the right entity and business scope and avoid structures that restrict you later.

FAQ

What is the difference between PMA and PMDN?
A PMA is a foreign-investment company that may be owned by foreign individuals or companies, subject to the investment list and minimum investment requirements. A PMDN is a purely domestic company whose shareholders must be Indonesian citizens or companies. We advise the right type for your business and ownership plan.
How long does registration take?
With complete documents, a PMA usually takes 2–4 weeks from notarisation to NIB; NPWP and bank account opening take a further 1–3 weeks depending on the institutions involved.
Can I register without being in Indonesia?
Yes. Most steps can be handled by us in Jakarta under a power of attorney. Some banks require the director to appear in person or by video verification — we will let you know in advance.
